Leona Liu
Meet Leona Liu
Leona Liu is currently pursuing her MM at the Yale School of Music, in the studio of Tai Murray. She recently graduated with her BM from the Eastman School of Music where she studied with Robin Scott. A supporter of living composers, Leona has premiered numerous works, served on the board of OSSIA New Music, attended the Norfolk New Music Workshop as an instrumental fellow, and was awarded the Eastman IML's Mentorship Grant to commission a new clarinet-violin-piano trio for her group, the Locus Trio. Outside of music, Leona also earned a BA in linguistics with a minor in math from the University of Rochester.
